ISMAIEL LEE

Trustee

Ismaiel serves on the Trust with ample training and experience in financial management and accounting. Over the years he moved to larger firms, specializing in business and trust bookkeeping. These skills and his experience in law firm bookkeeping have vastly contributed to the management and strength of the Trust. Ismaiel enthusiastically follows each bursary recipient’s academic career, has a keen interest in current affairs and enjoys watching soccer.

TERENCE VERNON ERASMUS

Trustee

Terence is the most experienced legal practitioner of the Trustees. He hails from Worcester and started his legal career in Cape Town in 2006. Following the completion of his articles of clerkship, he soon started his own legal firm. Terence is passionate about social justice issues and has successfully pursued such cases before the High Court. He intermittently also acts as a presiding officer for statutory regulatory bodies and the Anglican Church False Bay Diocese Registrar. He enjoys a good whiskey in this pastime and is an avid Harley Davidson fan. He is proud of representing the Trust and is passionate about its potential in uplifting students from disadvantaged communities.

MIRAH RANCHOD

Trustee

Mirah is the managing Trustee of the Trust. She is a proud Capetonian and a registered and practicing legal practitioner. She has managed three legal practices whilst also practicing law at the same time. Some of her accolades include being nominated and bestowed WOZA women in law awards. She is passionate about drafting agreements and trust administration, and thoroughly enjoys overseeing the Trustees. Mirah loves the outdoor life and appreciates the Western Cape’s natural beauty.
